ESV: And he brought them to his holy land, to the mountain which his right hand had won.

NIV: And so he brought them to the border of his holy land, to the hill country his right hand had taken.

NASB: So He brought them to His holy land, To this hill country which His right hand had gained.

CSB: He brought them to his holy territory, to the mountain his right hand acquired.

NLT: He brought them to the border of his holy land, to this land of hills he had won for them.

KJV: And he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, even to this mountain, which his right hand had purchased.

NKJV: And He brought them to His holy border, This mountain which His right hand had acquired.

The book of Psalms is composed of individual songs, hymns, or poems, each of which is a ''Psalm'' in and of itself. These works contain a wide variety of themes. Some Psalms focus on praising and worshipping God. Others cry out in anguish over the pain of life. Still other Psalms look forward to the coming of the Messiah. While some Psalms are related, each has its own historical and biblical context.
