What does Psalm 86:14 mean?
ESV: O God, insolent men have risen up against me; a band of ruthless men seeks my life, and they do not set you before them.
NIV: Arrogant foes are attacking me, O God; ruthless people are trying to kill me-- they have no regard for you.
NASB: God, arrogant men have risen up against me, And a gang of violent men have sought my life, And they have not set You before them.
CSB: God, arrogant people have attacked me; a gang of ruthless men intends to kill me. They do not let you guide them.
NLT: O God, insolent people rise up against me; a violent gang is trying to kill me. You mean nothing to them.
