ESV: For I said, “Steadfast love will be built up forever; in the heavens you will establish your faithfulness.”

NIV: I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself.

NASB: For I have said, 'Graciousness will be built up forever; In the heavens You will establish Your faithfulness.'

CSB: For I will declare, "Faithful love is built up forever; you establish your faithfulness in the heavens."

NLT: Your unfailing love will last forever. Your faithfulness is as enduring as the heavens.

KJV: For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.

The book of Psalms is composed of individual songs, hymns, or poems, each of which is a ''Psalm'' in and of itself. These works contain a wide variety of themes. Some Psalms focus on praising and worshipping God. Others cry out in anguish over the pain of life. Still other Psalms look forward to the coming of the Messiah. While some Psalms are related, each has its own historical and biblical context.
