Psalm 89:28 - Printer Friendly

ESV: My steadfast love I will keep for him forever, and my covenant will stand firm for him.

NIV: I will maintain my love to him forever, and my covenant with him will never fail.

NASB: I will maintain My favor for him forever, And My covenant shall be confirmed to him.

CSB: I will always preserve my faithful love for him, and my covenant with him will endure.

NLT: I will love him and be kind to him forever; my covenant with him will never end.

The book of Psalms is composed of individual songs, hymns, or poems, each of which is a ''Psalm'' in and of itself. These works contain a wide variety of themes. Some Psalms focus on praising and worshipping God. Others cry out in anguish over the pain of life. Still other Psalms look forward to the coming of the Messiah. While some Psalms are related, each has its own historical and biblical context.
