What does Zephaniah 1:14 mean?
ESV: The great day of the LORD is near, near and hastening fast; the sound of the day of the LORD is bitter; the mighty man cries aloud there.
NIV: The great day of the LORD is near-- near and coming quickly. The cry on the day of the LORD is bitter; the Mighty Warrior shouts his battle cry.
NASB: The great day of the Lord is near, Near and coming very quickly; Listen, the day of the Lord! In it the warrior cries out bitterly.
CSB: The great day of the Lord is near, near and rapidly approaching. Listen, the day of the Lord -- then the warrior's cry is bitter.
